Functional stimulation system for rehabilitation of gait and driving neural plasticity after spinal cord injury using graphene-based nerve electrodes

The project aims at exploring graphene-based flexible electrodes that may improve the capabilities for the control of motor neuroprostheses to recover locomotion after SCI, and for providing somatosensory feedback.

In addition, we aim to use such FES system to enhance neural plasticity and contribute to improve functional recovery after SCI.
